What is currently going on with efforts to stop police misconduct?(part2)

There are many other ways you can stop police misconduct from going on around you. If there are police that are taking advantage of their badge, you can file a complaint with the officers agency. If you were not to file a complaint with the officers agency, the department can deny any incident for the simple fact that it has not been reported to them. With that said, that is the easy way out for the corrupt police. So to be safe, you should file your complaint and you go to a police station for an interview about the complaint, be safe by letting a few people know where you are going, why you are going, and even have a few of your friends search you. It is a good idea to have a friend with you because you don't want the police to be sneaky and plant something illegal in your possession so they aren't found of any wrong doing. The best effort to stop police misconduct in your area is to catch any wrong doing done by the police force and make sure it's reported.

What is currently going on with efforts to stop police misconduct?

Organizations that help clean up police departments all over the country, purging bad officers who have a history of illegal arrests, false reports, excessive force, extortion, racism, etc. are some efforts to stop police misconduct. Also, there is awareness & advice that people give out to you if you experience any police misconduct. They guide you through legal actions and teach you what legal actions you are able to take. These type pf organizations help benefit Those who are wrongfully accused of crimes, or victims of planted evidence, coercive confessions, and who are injured by an officer acting outside of his duties and responsibilities to the community. Other efforts you can do to stop police misconduct is go to a district attorney's office. The district attorney's office would be the one to prosecute criminally in cases where there is an assault by an officer, theft, fraud, etc. The district attorney will recommend that you file a complaint with the officer's agency. They might do an investigation but will typically not tell you the results. If they find that this officer should be charged criminally, they will make a complaint and file it with with DA, who will take it to court. However, if the criminal act of the officer was one that is distorted and embraced by the department as simply an act of heroism against crime - you can be assured that it will not be reported to the DA. Even if it is, the DA has no legal obligation to press charges - perhaps that officer brings in many of the criminals with false statements that make it easy for the DA to prosecute.

AUNG SAN SUU KYI RELEASE

Aung San Suu Kyi Was Elected For President of Burum. She was arrested by the corrupt Burum military and was placed on house arrest for 13-19 years. How are both arguements critiqued?

On one end people critize the fact that people who dont agree with the violence that goes in with the police are hypocrits because they are probably violent toward there own kids and others. If there were to be any violence it should be for a cause in which the police have more of a reason. One the other end people critize how people who do agree with police misconduct are cold-hearted senseless, thoughtless beings. people up north who are more open to things are the ones that disagree with it and the southerners are the ones who dont see the problem.

what are the arguements for?(part2)

Also, Some people argue that Law enforcers should be reined in. They should be controlled to a certain extinct and should be watched on the regular. For instance, when the police put on their sirens when there is no actual emergency or crime to attend, they just want to avoid traffic. That is dangerous because some people wont move out the way in future purposes when there is a real emergency. Also, police take advantage of their fire arms and use them when they're not neccessary. That has been a major growing argument with the common people and law enforcers. In one case Sean Bell was shot 50 times by police in front of a night club in queens,NY over a misunderstanding. They thought the brush he had in his pocket for his hair was a gun and they opened fire on him 50 times and to make the situation worse, he was African-American and was killed. The shooting outraged thousands mostly the black community and it became national news to police misconduct as a epidemic. People argue that employers arent strict on who they hire into the force and that is way all this is going on.

police misconduct; What are the arguements for?

There are good arguments on both sides on police misconduct. On one side, people believe that police need to send out a message that crime and unruly behavior is criminal and will not be tolerated. Other argue that the use of tazers, batons, spray, and handguns are uncalled for and unjustified. Also people argue about how the police handle protest. They push away protestors who have the right of free voice. They even resort to high-pressure hoses and use tear gas to keep em controlled. Personally, I feel that some methods the police use are unruly. I understand that the police are protecting the society and as well as theirselves but the violence is to much. Some criminals are hard to take down and you might need a little bit more of assistance. I only agree with the spray and tazers. Everything else is not justified and does not give the rights for the human-being, whether they are in the right ir wrong

police misconduct

Police Misconduct has been a growing epidemic in the United States. Police take advantage of their power as law enforcers in which they do not follow the laws they enforce. As a human, you must follow all laws no matter what. Some citizens experience police brutallity, in which the police take advantage of police procedures, in some cases aren't neccessary. One Very popular case that caught the medias' attention on police brutality is the rodney king case.
In the rodney king case, a man by the name of rodney king was savagely beat by a number of LA police. On March 3,1991, King was speed driving intoxicated and was pulled over.Their boots, billy clubs, and Tasers, beat the 25 year-old into the history books. It was uneccessary for the police to beat him for a such thing and he did not resist arrest. that was a form a police brutality and racial discrimination in the police work force. Out of all the police cops that beat him only four were acquitted. Both the force and the federal government didnt follow the procedures for such things to happen again. they should have made an example out of it to educate the minds of those who plan on doing things like that.
